Minister for Finance & Public Expenditure and Reform, Pascal Donohoe TD will lead a discussion that will feature the Director General of DG FISMA, John Berrigan.

They will be joined by a panel of senior decision makers from the financial services industry, who will share what the Commission Strategy means for them and their sector.

Ireland for Finance, the Irish Government Strategy for the development of International Financial Services, has the sustainable agenda as a core priority.

As part of the ongoing work in this area the team at Ireland for Finance are partnering with Sustainable Nation Ireland to maximise engagement with DG DISMA and the Commission to drive as many responses as possible to their consultation paper link here.

In doing so we want to share the stories of what is a vibrant and dynamic element of the Irish International Financial Services sector, an important pillar of our economy and one with a vital role to play in our recovery from COVID.

The Sustainable Perspectives event will be the first in a series of engagements where people will have the opportunity to share their thoughts, collectively and individually, with the Department of Finance on the European sustainable investment transition.
